Artist Statement & Exhibition Statement 

Teri Thomas-Edgeworth is an accomplished acrylic painter whose work reflects a lifelong connection to the beauty, serenity, and power of coastal environments. With decades of painting experience and numerous exhibitions throughout Lancaster County and Ocean City, Maryland, Teri has developed a distinctive style characterized by layered textures, luminous blues and teals, and expressive interpretations of water, shoreline, and sky.
Inspired by the ever-changing coastal landscape, Teri’s paintings explore the relationship between people and the natural world. Her work celebrates the restorative spirit of life near the water while also reflecting a deep concern for the preservation of our oceans, shorelines, and fragile ecosystems. Through rich texture and movement, each painting invites viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the tranquility and wonder found in nature.
Drawing inspiration from coastal adventures, boating excursions, sandy beaches, and quiet moments along the shoreline, Teri creates artwork that evokes cherished memories and a sense of place.
